Tesla Prepares to Take Charge of Hungary EV Sales by Opening its First Service Center

Tesla continues to strengthen its position in several countries of Central and Eastern Europe, preparing for the opening of the first Service Center in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.

Last year, Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced that the company plans to expand its presence in Central and Eastern Europe, in relatively small but dynamic automotive markets, especially for electric vehicles. Soon thereafter, all Tesla vehicles, except Model Y, became available for ordering in Poland, Hungary, Romania, and Slovenia.

The manufacturer already has a Service Center in Warsaw, Poland, where many customers have already purchased Tesla vehicles from other countries prior to its own official market launch. Another Service Center is due to open in the near future in Bucharest, Romania, as Tesmanian previously reported. Now, Tesla intends to open a service center in Budapest, Hungary.

On December 17, the company opened recruitment for a number of positions related to service: Service Manager, Service Technician, and Senior Service Technician.

The Service Center will make the people of the country even more inclined to buy Tesla cars. Once it is launched, customers will no longer have to worry about going to another country for service. At the time being, the purchase of Tesla cars in many countries of the world is restrained by this factor.
